Lyrics
My hands are as dry as sandpaper and I feel fat in these blue-jeans Every mornin' I hit the ground runnin' Feelin' cheated by my dreams I don't know if I dream in color. I don't remember them at all, But wasn't Brad Pitt so dreamy in 'Legends of The Fall'? Why do songs have to be about somethin' Well this ain't one of those. Spin the bottle on the ground Beneath your toes and woes And where it stops, nobody knows. In the Summer I get really squirrely I act the opposite of my age. There have been many times my life resembled Bob Seger's, "Turn the Page". So I bet you're wonderin' where this is going? Hell, I don't even know. It least it ain't as bad as my diary, or "Where the Red Fern Grows". Why do songs have to be about somethin' Well this ain't one of those. Spin the bottle on the ground Beneath your toes and woes And where it stops, nobody knows. For once I can write something funny And less what I think or believe It's a stark contrast from this cathartic mess of wearing my heart on my sleeve.
